My Findings & Verdict
My Rating
4.5
Verve V80 is a new super greens powder from the founder of Myprotein. The main stand out is that you can see ALL of the ingredients on the pack, unlike many other products that have proprietary blends that don’t disclose the actual amounts of each ingredient.
It is a great product with 80 ingredients, most you would expect in a greens product and some that are there for taste.
Read on to see if Verve V80 is the super greens powder for you. This is my current go-to greens powder which I take every morning.
Taste
When I first tried Verve V80 I couldn’t place the taste. Initially it tastes of berries or something sweet, then you get the other ingredients kicking in so it tastes more like a mouth full of vegetables. One thing I can say is that it does have a very natural taste.
It doesn’t contain an overbearing flavour like other greens, some of which have flavours to mask the greens taste.
It doesn’t mix totally to a smooth liquid, giving the feeling that you are drinking bits of greens, you can see from some of my pictures just how grainy the product is, but it really isn’t unpleasant to drink.
I would absolutely recommend Verve V80 to anyone who is looking for a reliable and effective greens powder that discloses 1o0% of the ingredients it contains.

Why you should trust me
Unlike a lot of other companies who only research the ingredients and make a judgement base only on that, I actually try the products I review!
I am currently taking Verve V80 Super Greens Powder and have done for over 6 weeks to really get a feel for how this Super Greens Powder really works, if indeed it does work.
It’s also important to be able to say how these products taste and feel in the mouth, not something you can do if you haven’t used the product.
I’ve also spent the time researching ingredients, working through the papers and research reports that show what can and won’t work. I’ve also spent the last 5 years in the supplements business so know a thing or two about ingredients. For more see the about us page.
How I evaluated Verve V80 Super Greens Powder
Evaluating a product like Verve V80 is straightforward. First and foremost I have tried this product myself so I know what it tastes like and how it makes me feel.
I have then broken down my evaluation into specific criteria that I believe reflect the information needed by someone looking to buy this product.
Then I have done some additional research to make a confident assessment of a product’s potential.
I have started with ingredients as this is one on the most important parts of my final rating assessment. Provided there’s nothing in there I wouldn’t take myself or at least a suspicion that someone might want to try a given supplement, I move on to try the product myself.
I will only do this if I believe that the product is safe, has safe levels of ingredients and I know what I am putting in my body.
After that I want to see if the product is effective in doing what is claims to do.
The last criteria for my evaluation comprises prices, discounts, subscription service, customer service, and more. These are all less influential in my overall ratings, but they are often the things that can tip the scales for anyone looking to try a supplement for the first time, or anyone who is torn between two products.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these criteria for a clearer picture of whether Verve V80 Super greens Powder is be a good fit for you.
Verve V80 Ingredients – 5/5
The list of ingredients is huge, mainly due to Verve V80 disclosing the amounts of EVERY ingredient they have in the product. This is how the manufacturer describes the product:
Giving you the entire range of vitamins, greens and minerals your body needs on a daily basis, Verve is already packed with the good stuff. But with a group of carefully chosen superfoods blended into the mix, it’s a nutritional powerhouse.
Whilst I have said on other product reviews that I would like to see the exact ingredients used, the way that the ingredients are set out on the site / pack make it slightly difficult to understand or compare with other products.
If there is an immunity blend in another product for example, it would be useful to be able to see which ingredients are included for this purpose.
There is a selector on the website to show which ingredients can help with immunity, however some of the ingredients can perform more than one function so you get a similar list each time.
The Verve V80 website lists 210 ingredient benefits which is a lot! This is based on some of the ingredients having more than one benefit. I have tried to condense the content from the website in the following section.
Our unique blend has been developed with all natural ingredients and formulated to work synergistically making the benefits greater than the sum of its parts.

Verve V80 Effectiveness – 4/5
Several ingredients in Verve V80 have purported benefits, including boosted energy, recovery, aided digestion, and immunity support.
While there are no direct studies on on this or any other greens products, several of Verve V80 claims are supported by clinical trials on the efficacy of greens powders and vitamin and mineral supplements.
Two studies from 2006 and 2009 that looked at the effects of consuming fruit and vegetable powder mixes, showed that systolic and diastolic blood pressure in those tested decreased significantly after taking powder supplements for 90 days, but body weight remianed unchanged.
Looking at the claims of increased energy and cognition, a study in 2020 showed that using vitamin and mineral supplements resulted in health benefits in the areas of mental and physical fatigue and cognitive and psychological functions.
While supplements like Verve V80 are no substitute for a healthy diet composed of vitamin and nutrient rich fruits, vegetables, and fibre, they can benefit those suffering from deficiencies and boost overall energy while helping to lower blood pressure.
Verve V80 Costs – 4/5
My cost consideration is a combination of price, bulk or subscription discounts, return policy, and shipping costs. Most greens powders cost somewhere between £15 and £100. The single pack cost of Verve V80 at £75.00 price puts it at the higher end of that range. And like most of its competitors, it suggests you use a subscription program rather than bulk purchase savings.
With only the option to take a subscription or buy a single pack, the lowest price for Verve V80 is £2 per serving, which is higher than some, but still a decent price for the product you are getting.
Product Cost | Postage | Cost Per Serving | |
---|---|---|---|
1 Bag | £75.00 | £0.00 | £2.50 |
1 Bag Subscription | £60.00 | £0.00 | £2.00 |

How to take Verve V80
I like to have my greens in a small glass of water in the morning with breakfast, it honestly is the best way to start your day and it will leave you energised all day.
The shaker that comes with the starter pack is a must to blend the product effectively. I normally just use a spoon to stir product, but Verve V80 needs a little more than that to blend it properly. I’ve also borrowed my daughter’s mini electric whisk to blend the powder, it’s a total game changer!
Unlike other greens that suggest you can mix the powder with juice or even milk, Verve V80 like to keep things simple and suggest only mixing with 300ml of water
mixing one scoop of V80 with 300ml of cold water every day is the best way to raise your antioxidant profile.
Verve V80 Final Thoughts
Verve V80 is the new kid on the block for super greens powders, created by the team behind MyProtein (but in no way affiliated with THG or any of it’s partners).
This is a well balanced mixture of a multivitamin with the added benefits of the added greens and minerals ingredients.
I love this product although I didn’t like, or really couldn’t place the taste of Verve V80, it has grown on my the more I take it and it really does pack a punch when you first take it.
I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a natural energy boost, wants to add more vitamins and minerals to their diet. The website says:
A high dose of minerals ensures you have all the main electrolytes for your nerves and muscles. Add to this the green and fruit complexes and you’re benefiting from a wide range of natural antioxidants. There’s also plenty of fibre for healthy digestion, pre and probiotics for gut health and proteins for strong bones.
